The media announcement of the foundation of the first "Academy
for Board Members" (world premiere) produced extensive coverage.
The News Service on Swiss National Television, the economic forum "Trend"
of Swiss National Radio including Radio Pilatus and all relevant print
media reported on this new service for the Swiss business world: The education
of board members.
Active and future directors can now enroll in a university-level
training program offered by Arnold, Glanzmann, Kilgus & Schwarzenbach
(AGKS), a recruitment firm specialized in corporate governance positions.
The lecturers are top-level specialists from academic and business circles,
and the program is under the scientific supervision of Professor Ernst
Kilgus. With an "à-la-carte" system, participants can
put together their own curricula with any of 20 high-echelon governance
topics. The tuition fee ist SFr 1.300.- per seminar day. The courses are
held at the conference facilities of the Glanzmann Consulting Group in
Zürich which apart from AGKS also includes PRW Public Relations +
Werbe AG - a communication agency established over 30 years ago - and
the recently founded Integrated Financial Business Consulting AG (IFBC).
In addition to its proprietary consulting services, they also provide
lecturers for the BoD Academy.
